Chances are you won't be very acclimated to the altitude, lack of humidity and sun / snow (depending on the weather). This is the perfect time to learn or "tune" up your riding skills and get the most out of the rest of your trip here. Our base elevation of 10,300 ft. and summit elevation of 11,900 ft. will take "some getting used to". Take your time with a qualified instructor and don't beat yourself up on your first day here. Drink lots of water (you can't over do it) and take a break if you're cold and/or tired. I can help you get the most out of your time here without too many bumps and bruises or dehydration and altitude sickness.
